Alpha and Volgjewoning: connecting the homebuyer journey

Choosing a new-build home involves more than reading a floor plan. Buyers want to understand the options, see what their choices mean and know what happens next. That is why we are developing an integration between Alpha and Volgjewoning: to connect visual home configuration with the wider buyer process.

Alpha lets homebuyers explore their home and the available options in 3D. The integration we are developing is intended to connect that experience with their environment in Volgjewoning, making the transition from exploration to choices and buyer support easier.

The intended journey starts in Volgjewoning. Buyers enter the correct home in Alpha, explore the possibilities and put together a configuration. Their submitted choices should then become part of the subsequent process in Volgjewoning. We are working together on the technical connection and the details of how these choices are handled.

For buyers, the goal is a more coherent experience: what they explore and choose in the configurator connects with the conversation with their buyer adviser. For project teams, we aim to make the handover of choices clearer and reduce duplicate entry. These are development goals; the integration is not live yet.

We are developing the integration step by step, covering the relationship between projects and homes, access to the configurator and the transfer of choices. Testing the complete buyer journey is part of that work.

A better customer journey is the common thread. A visual configurator becomes more useful when the choices made in it can also support subsequent guidance and follow-up. This integration is about connecting understanding, decisions and next steps.
